Powder Coating Equipment and systems
SCT can supply and install the equipment required to set up a powder coating plant. A powder coating plant requires significant initial upfront investment (from R700000 upwards), and is only advised for industries requiring high volume applications.
To set up a powder coating plant you will need
- a spray booth,
- a powder curing oven,
- a powder recovery cyclone (recommended),
- a means of conveyance (e.g. an overhead conveyor),
- a powder coating unit with a powder coating gun,
- a means of cleaning the steel components according to your powder supplier’s specifications.
For automated systems, an electromechanical oscillator is used to move the powder coating guns up and down to coat the components as they are conveyed through the spray booth.
Please note we do not provide a powder coating service or equipment rental service. SCT does not supply powder coating material. We also do not set up the operation for cleaning of steel components.
